OK so how do you start your first blog?

Good question...well for starters I am a mom to two of the most wonderful kids any mom could ask for. And you see, my kids have more life experience than most adults....we adopted them from the Indiana foster care system. Before my kids became my kids they were exposed to events and people that we only have nightmares of. You truly never know how blessed you are to be born into a "normal" family.

Alecia just turned six and is the brightest, most beautiful, ball of fire you may ever meet in your life. She can smack a softball with no hesitation and I am sure was the coaches favorite this season.

Tomas will be four in two days and is very handsome with is dark skin and soulful eyes. He is a lover, protector, son, brother and one of the best childhood golfers around.

OK So by now you know i may stretch the truth but in all honesty I believe every word written thus far. I have the best kids on the block, a husband that would make you envy and a mom that is my best friend. What did I do to deserve this? I will never know, but I will surely thank God for my blessings each and every day.
