What Will Summer 2010 Have in Store?

So, things here could be changing; we'll see. The Gilmore family may legally be adding TWO more boys to the crew. Time will tell. This is part that I hate. The waiting. I would just like to know for sure if we get to adopt them or not. I am not a team player when it comes to the wait. IF it's a go I will be posting pics of these little boogers soon for all to see, and let me tell ya; I got some good ones!

Things around here have gotten ALOT less hectic. We had three older kids moved because it just wasn't working with all the younger kids. So we have changed our license to only six kids, ages ten and under. And it has been MUCH smoother here for the past few weeks.
Great news...My brother in law and his wife just got their license in FL to foster!!! I am so excited for them. It has been on Ashley's mind for a long time and they are finally doing it! YAY for them. I wish them all the best and pray that they get the same blessings from it that we do. (I also have to wonder; how did two Gilmore boys grow up to be such nice, responsible citizens who only lead a productive life, but have taken such steps to help the under-belly of their communities?) But; nonetheless, I am proud of them!
We can't wait for more summer time fun like this...
My household is waiting on the weather to stable out so we can....do some camping! Trying to decide if we want to buy a camper this year. I have no problem tent camping; but with two babes I am thinking it would be best for all if we got a camper. Ideally we would leave it parked at Patoka Lake (along with Bart's new toy, his jet ski) and spend our weekends there. That is my plan anyway!

For bad news...both of our vehicles have been worked on recently. Bart's twice! A new transmission and a transfer case to the tune of almost THREE GRAND!!! Yikes! And mine, an oil leak and thermostat housing. And now, yep, my light is on again. I am so ready to try public transportation.

Sis started her t-ball practice almost two weeks ago. But has only made one practice. The rain has been the culprit, fields are too wet and soggy for them to be out there. But I am awaiting some fun games this summer. She actually did very well at practice. She was paying attention and participating.

Well, not much to share in our boring and mundane lives. I am listening to Tomas read a book to the babes, it is very cute!
